Under the direction of the EnvironmentalHealth and Safety Manager, this position is accountable for:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops and execute management systems designed to ensure the plant is in compliance with all Arconic, Local, State, and Federal environmental regulations.

  • Coaches and provides mentorship to departmentalleadership in the execution of their EHS accountabilities.

  • Provides technical expertise in newequipment/facilities development by actively participating in ProjectEnvironmental Safety Health reviews, audits, and internal self-assessments.

  • Analyses data and reports necessary for corrective / preventive actions and gaps.

  • Assists with development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures of Arconic.

  • Participates actively in investigation of environmental incidents to assist in identifying root cause and provides recommendations to prevent recurrence.

  • Coordinates and/or performs environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up

  • Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping

  • Lead and manage air, water and waste permitting activities and compliance.



  • Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited institution;

  • Minimum 3 years of environmental experience;

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


  • Environmentalexperience in a manufacturing setting

  • BS inEnvironmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Management

  • Knowledgeof applicable Federal and State EHS related regulations and procedures.

  • Strongcommunication skills, analytical skills, problem solving and human relationsskills.

  • Ability tomake difficult decisions with sometimes an incomplete set of data.

  • Safetytraining, orientation, risk analysis and ability to assist with safety andhealth activities in plant.

  • Criticalskills include: execution, attention to detail, initiative, conflictresolution, customer focus, collaboration, building ownership and commitment,developing others, establishing and direction, drive for change, tenacity,getting organization support and tenacity.

  • OtherDetails: Relocation assistance provided. Expected travel is less than 5%.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
